In 2009, the first “Panic” Exhibition was held in UK, featuring the artworks of the founders of the ‘Panic Movement’ (formed in 1960s) and those of modern artists exhibited together. Subsequently, in 2011 the project turned into “Modern Panic” and has been holding innovative annual exhibitions for the last 10 years, exploring provocative, controversial and surreal international artists
The “Modern Panic” by the curator of the project James Elphick will come to Japan for the first time this year! Enjoy the integration of a collection of leading provocative artists in modern art.
2009年にイギリスで、パニック・ムーブメントの創始者による作品と、現代アーティストの作品を同時に展示する「Panic Exhibition I」が始動、その後、2011年にそのプロジェクトは「Modern Panic 」となり、現在まで10年間常に革新的な展覧会を開催しています。そのプロジェクトのキュレーターJames Elphick氏による「Modern Panic 」が本年度日本初上陸いたします！
超現実的であり、物議を醸す挑発的な現代美術の主要アーティストのコレクションと、1962年にパリで誕生した「パニック・ムーブメント」の融合を是非お楽しみください。
